Prekindergarten & Kindergarten

What makes our Pre-K/Kindergarten classroom special?  One noticeable point is being able to talk about God, pray, and learn to care for others. This is the solid foundation we build starting in this room. 

Our young students learn so much in such a short amount of time.  This is a time when they expand their love of learning, build knowledge, develop their social skills, explore ways of learning about the world God created, and learn to become images of God.  What will you see when you visit our classroom?

  • Enthusiastic, curious learners who are actively engaged in hands-on learning activities
  • A welcoming, peaceful environment that is organized and comfortable and suited for young learners.
  • Small groups of students who are actively engaged in learning centers with collections of hands-on learning materials
  • A designated prayer space where we gather and pray throughout the day
  • A small group of students and me sitting at our Guided Reading table and the rest of the class independently doing literacy activities
  • Our young students interacting with their 4th, 5th, and 6th grade buddies
